Minkyu Park

Ph.D.

2012-2016

Minkyu Park is a Ph.D student in the Department of Chemical & Environmental Engineering at the University of Arizona. He is the recipient of a College of Engineering (CoE) Graduate Fellowship for the academic year 2012-13 and of Water Sustainability Program (WSP) fellowship for the academic year 2014-15. His research interests are surrogate analysis of trace organic contaminants (TOrCs) using spectroscopic technique such as UV-Vis and fluorescence spectrophotometer for water treatment processes including advanced oxidation processes (AOPs), granular activated carbon (GAC), and membrane filtration. In addition, he also focuses on development of treatment technologies for nanofiltration (NF) brine.
